A residential property group with a social purpose needed a redesign for their annual report. It needed to have a simple look and feel and include more white space to make the design clean and modern. Key information needed to be highlighted throughout the report. The brochure needed to be image led and in line with brand guidelines.

Alex Aiken
Alex Aiken & Son Ltd was founded in 1987 and has risen to be a leading vehicle service provider in the North East of Scotland. With no solid logo in place for almost 30 years, I was asked to create a mark which was memorable but also purveys how the logistic and haulage companies of Scotland regard them as ‘heroes’ for keeping them on the road. The AA letters form a representation of a road and ahead arrows and the mark also has a nod to the companies first ever workshop which was stationed across a bridge in the highlands.

Promotional material was needed to draw attention to a new facility opening in leisure centres across Knowsley. ‘The Hub’ was a place customers could visit to discuss their fitness goals with staff and trainers as well as create a tailor made plan to achieve them. Large banners and flyers were needed and these were produced using a specific colour palette in keeping with the existing branding for the centres.

This 8 page A4 brochure was used by an international storage company to assist with a presentation to secure a multi-million pound contract. The brochure was handed out to board members of an existing client in order to pitch a new service on offer.
A corporate clean look was needed in order to deliver the key points of the service during the pitch and the material was sited upon successful completion of the deal as being a contributing factor in the decision.
